As first translations go, I'd say this was done very well. (Though I cannot accurately judge since I do not know Japanese.) The sentences and grammar are coherent and the editing of the text is well-sized. You and your friend did well in this endeavor.

As for your friend not interested in hentai, translating and uploading non-h stuff here is also welcomed, since you never know who might come across it and favorite them. Though whether they remain on the site is another story.
