Well, considering that New York Times just cancelled Pepe for "normalizing r*pe culture" and not only getting his cameo in Space Jam 2* cut, but Warner Bros having to put out a statement saying they "have no plans to use the character any time soon", you'd be surprised.

*Also, that cameo in SJ2? Was going to be a joke about him being a "sexual predator" pretty much. He'd hit on one of the human leads, get slapped and told that's not okay, and that Penelope had filed a restraining order against him.

If anything is sexualized, it was Lola Bunny, and she wasn't cancelled. Plus didn't the Looney Tunes show joke about her being a yandere? If people are applying IRL logic, she'd be worse on the scale of "coming on too strong".

I absolutely loathed Pepe Le Pew, even as a kid when I didn't know what sexual harassment was. XD
I am glad this artist really went all wholesome with it. It was nice to see him in a good light, being a well adapted and loving partner. They are jsut very cute togheter.
And it is a little funny that the accent isn't actually something he only does on stage, that it is his ACTUAL accent is a little funny.

This is so sweet. A nice idea of making it that Pepe's lecher persona is just an act for the camera and he's a more wholesome romantic with is girlfriend, off-camera, and frequent collaborator.
