This colorization works better than in https://e-hentai.org/g/1612589/ab3ff61980/ for a few reasons.

1. Timing. It comes at the end, post-coitus, and corresponds with a change of scenery. In the other one, it’s midfuck. Sure, it’s when they first notice the sunset, but wouldn’t page 18 be better, just timing-wise? It’s a much more significant transition. It comes right at the end of sex, when they’re switching to stillness during the orgasm. The other one is more like a brief pause as they change positions. It could work if you started a longer color sequence at this part that lasted until page 18, but I’m skeptical for the next reason.

2. The colors themselves. Specifically, the deep twilight blue lends itself better to this kind of coloring. The rods in our eyes can’t pick up the details of colors at night like the cones do. The lack of distinct hues on the buildings, their clothes, and the whole deep twilight world works. It fits the scene. The blue recoloring works well for this kind of nightscape.

In contrast, the sunset recoloring doesn’t really give a sunset vibe. sdpfsj said that the colors look like a sepia filter, and I agree. They don’t have the range of reds, oranges, and yellows you’d normally have during a sunset. Instead, it’s more brown. Also, the characters themselves seemed washed out. Look at Fuyuko’s skin on the cover versus in the recolored page. Her skin tones distinctly stand out on the cover page. She’s completely separate from the background, her skin stands in stark contrast to the air’s color around her, etc. On the colorized page, she’s the same sepia color as the background. Unfortunately, this isn’t simple to fix. Sunset just lends itself to both more vibrant colors and more distinct coloration details.

3. Subtlety. This one’s a lot harder to describe since it partially comes down to taste, but I think the very gentle hand you used in coloring this one flat-out works better. Sunset scenes are inherently flashy, something which makes the transition from black and white pages before and after pretty jarring. It goes from black and white -> color -> black and white, without much reason. It would actually be a stronger effect if you only colored the top panel. Mood-wise, that matches their brief moment of external focus. After that, their focus shifts back to sex. Emphasizing that shift in focus, and transitioning with their own state of minds, would make a bigger impact.

In this one. the blue moodiness fits well with the darkness, but is still pretty close in color to the previous pages. It doesn’t feel like a stark shift. Also, the pages before and after are pretty distinct in tone. The color page emphasizes that external focus, that shift towards talking about the world around them. The next page, it focuses on Fuyuko again. The shift in color enhances that.

Anyway, hope this feedback helps a bit! Also, if you want some other examples, https://e-hentai.org/g/1286944/def9936c55/ handles the color to black and white transitions really well. Even though it doesn’t meet the actual tag definition for full color, I think even the black and white parts should be interpreted as entirely in color. (Kind of like if a character in a color film started watching a black and white movie partway through.)

(Also, if you’re going to colorize these pages, I’d love to have both the colorized and uncolorized versions available in these galleries!)

You know, AlephFish said all I could about the colouring. Yes, it was a tasteful timing, subtle, and actually accented the scene to a near-unforgettable moment. When you walk away, and what's in your mind is somehow not the amazing sex you had, but the philosophical discussion. Compared to your last one, which actually had me thinking, "Why now?" and "What's so special on this frame?". It was so abrupt, it shook me out of any immersion I had.

In other words, this was a good addition of colour that created a different climax. The other colorization looked like someone was bored af, saw the biggest panel of the sun, and decided to grab their colouring pencils and shade it in. Maybe not that bad...but underwhelming compared to this. Ended up liking this second part more.
