@32: Goddamnit, this had the perfect story for Revy and they made it moot by switching back to vaginal without showing anymore of her flashbacks. The title is called Past Memory, not Present Day Vanilla. They could have at least had Revy tell Rock to put it back in her ass. She's a rare case of a character with a canonical origin story for masochism and they threw that opportunity out the window.

This was really, really good and true to the characters. Revy has a lot of past trauma, Rock has a serious sadistic side but at the same time Rock feels regret for that side of his personality and Revy has a deep desire to make Rock happy and protect him. In the end Rock is upset at what he did and Revy feels regret at making Rock feel that way. But there's still a deep sense of love between two very flawed people.
