But it seems that the resolution in your translated version is almost 3 times smaller than the raw I found. Did you use a raw from another site? Or did you downscale the high resolution raw and if so why?

Edit: Also the cover page was smaller in the raw. It seems to be smaller here too. Both the cover page and the rest of the manga are around 37% of their original sizes. There's also a large logo added on the cover. So I ask again: Why did you choose to use a smaller raw when there's a much better raw available? Or in case you used the same raw: Why did you decide to reduce the size to 37%?

@nikaido I see. I've filtered out chinese language galleries among other languages except japanese and english from search so I didn't realize that possibility. Of course if they find translating from chinese to english easier than japanese to english then they should use the chinese translation. I just wish they had used the best available raw for editing.

However my greatest apologies, as it completely slipped my mind the japanese version could have a higher resolution, so I didin't bother using it (I made the wrong assumption the chinese translation would retain the original resolution).

The earrings were likely a triple activation trigger as a safety precaution, sort of like how a nuclear launch has several keys. It's possible that in case one of them lost control of their body, or had their mind taken over, it was to prevent someone from making them commit suicide. It makes sense when you treat them as operatives who carry sensitive information, where death is the preferable option to failure.

Lots of transformation-type stories along these lines have things to make it so that the characters lose their autonomy completely, so makes sense from that angle
