For the future:
Please use the full resolution pictures for editing and not e-hentai's downscaled 1280px images.
Your images are only in 1280 x ~1900px while the raws are in various different sizes but all with more than 3000px vertikal res.

There are 3 methods available to download them
1. torrent download (torrents not always contain the latest version of the gallery or the full res images. Torrents with downscaled images should have 1280x in its name)
2. Archive Download: click on "Archive Download" and "Download Original Archive" (e-hentai account and GP or Credits required)
3. the "Download Original" link at the bottom of each individual picture, if you don't want to download the complete gallery or whatever other reason (e-hentai account and GP or Credits required)

You're probably right there. Unfortunately this often happens in waves 2-3 times a year, but it seems the lockdowns made it even worse this time.

@Ancient-Alien: I suspect nowadays some people source their raws from NH instead of faffing with the fjords, lately there have been too many instances of using the resampled raw for it to be a coincidence...
