Netorare comes from "netoru", that basically means "to sleep with someone else's partner" but from a third person perspective (the one being cheated on) and with the nuance of "being taken" since the "toru" in netoru means "to take".

There's a reason why Japanese (and Konkit) uses netorare to define what Kaya is doing in her story.

It's the very same reason why in English, "to take" does not imply any permanence. While someone can "take" Kaya-nee from the husband temporarily and give her back later, that does not negate the fact that the "taking" happens. The same thing applies in the Japanese language, and again, is the reason why this series is known as an NTR series in Japan.

Do understand, that implications of permanence has nothing to do with netorare/netori/netoru/NTR/netorase or whatever conjugation of that verb-term. If that were the case, Mashiraga Aki's Fork in the Road would not considered NTR because the girlfriend essentially came back to her photographer boyfriend after getting the fuck fucked out of her for months. Same with other stories using a similar storyline. The wife/gf/husband/bf/mother/sister/cousin/osananajimi/etc coming back to their first love never negates the initial NTR moment that causes something to be called NTR.

Also, understand that NTR series can start from a blackmail/rape story and devolve into the woman getting completely enamored with the NTRguy that it turns almost cheating-like, or, cheating if the story goes on long enough. It does not change the fact that the series is an NTR series.

Because in Japan, whenever cheating happens, NTR (both netori and netorare) has already occurred. Great examples of long running NTR series turning into cheating stories like this are MTSP's Tohsaka-ke doujinshi series as well as Hito no Fundoshi's Kaki Hoshuu doujinshi series.

Netorare is one thing, but always remember there are sub section about it, netorare type A, B, C, netorase, netori, etc

Its still counted as netorare because Kaya nee is a Type A and B Netorare (type A because of that tutor kid in the beginning, and type B when it comes to accidental stuff like this). Type A is about the heroine willingly cheats without the MC knowing about it, while Type B is about getting forced, but the girl ended up liking it at the end. Google would help you to understand more about these types.

Netorare aint always about sad and depressing genre.
