What was the thought process in her mind and why did it come to this?

At first I thought this doujin would be completely nonsensical and out of character with the priestess asking to get raped simply to facilitate us being able to have porn of her. But the plot was surprisingly deep and convincing. The priestess wanting to be violated to atone for what happened to her former comrades, to feel what they felt in an effort to be able to empathize with their suffering. I applaud the author for this move.

The ending was interesting. Honestly I expected her to mind break and fall into despair after feeling so much pleasure from being raped. I expected her to wander off naked into the woods. To descend down into the cave where she had lost her last party and willingly fall to her knees amidst the goblins that had raped and slain her party members for her herself to be raped slain and eaten.

a lot of people don't get it and just say "its just porn, what does it matter?" and while often it is true that plot will be excusable for being porn, one of the main reasons I loike hentai over any other type of porn is because I do enjoy reading and getting inmersed in the aspects that aren't just the sex and explicit parts. Knowing the personality and motivation of a character adds a lot to my arousal and makes hentai something unique and enjoyable.
And yes, of course "good" doesn't mean "complicated". Most hentai works should have a suitable simple story that fits a short 20 pages work. The point is that if you read an origianl work you are left thinking "that was hot because I would love to have sex with a character with that personality", and in the case of doujins based on other works"that was hot because it represents well this character I like"
