Artist's last work is this apparently. 2 years ago. I've dug around danbooru's artist page 'cause that usually tells something if the artist switch's aliases or something has been updated, but apparently the artist hasn't done any new work since then, nor even anything like a single drawing. All other sites they used to have are dead as well. All single art work I can find dates back to 2015 or older, EXCEPT on the mame group site, which I think the artist is a one-man circle anyways. Apparently the artist draws one per year lately starting 2018, the latest one was from 1/3/2020 (http://www.8mame8.sakura.ne.jp/img/2020_1.jpg), so it's safe to assume that the artist is still alive atleast. Unfortunately this is where I hit the road block, I can't even find another source for the artworks except on that site. I assume atleast the artist had a twitter account to follow. You can try contacting the artist as the e-mail should be on the site(just hover or copy link on the contact us link), see if the artist responds. I won't bother myself, 'cause I'm sure they have their reasons.

Artist also does not use a unique username, so it's harder to track down. So yea, I don't think this thing is getting a sequel anytime soon.
