If the others slime’s personalities are fine with Yūji marrying “Takamiya”, I guess we could have a good end here, indeed. AFAIK, this slime being doesn’t plan to kill him (as long as Yūji stays loyal to them, and except by having sex with him too much, meybe).

Anyway short version the slime eat people then transformed to be that person,
long version the slime was not just transformed to look like other people, it ate them then transformed to replace them with all the knowledge&memory of those people when it ate them. So "they" are individual but when they meet up they can share all the memory when they act as individual.
