Personally not a fan of the ending. I mean, if you like it, good on ya. It's just that, i still don't get exactly why Sayo chose to permanently become a man. Like, i get the original intent was to confirm Yuuto's feelings, but why stay as a dude? While I'm mostly saying this as someone lamenting the lack of a Yuri ending, it also kind of makes the statement that while it's cool and all for women to be lesbians and have lesbian sex, you should put away those feelings when it's time for marriage, so you can fulfill Shinzo Abe's dream of reversing the decline of Japanese birth rates.

It went with Yuri then straight for the het.

Random person came and Yuuto soul instantly assimilated for the sake of convenience. Then interestingly they still managed to separate both bodies. At this point there's no way a person can't move forward, and his gf took the words too fast instead making a way to properly deal with it.

The ending by any mean is a good one, but not faithful enough to what it tries to show on first two chapters

Sayo saw Yuuto's Ayumi body responding heavier with Reiji than with her, so she took control over Reiji to get back with Yuuto.
What I don't understand is why Haruyo didn't try and posess Reiji to be with Ayumi.

My understanding is that Haruyo is affraid that his own identity/soul may "dissapear" (like how it happened with Yuuto´s original male body/DNA, that is currently "nowhere"), if he would remain inside Reiji for a long time [ Or maybe he TRULY loves her & wants the real Ayumi to be "happy"? ].
-> They do not know if "getting out" for a whole day (or even a year) after six months of posession would be enough to fully "reset" the condition of their soul.
