Patreon, there the pages are originally posted, recently changed their guidelines. It was mainly to stop bestiality artwork but "human on furry" got looped in as well.
So the artist changed the human characters to furries in order to meet the new guidelines. I don't know if there's any plans to go back and edit the earlier pages.

Aside from some Johnny-Come-Lately's who haven't looked at the comments, most people looking at this (and the duplicate gallery of this) know the reason why.

The comments are now that: why make a completely furry version JUST so they can keep posting on Patreon? The smart thing, that I've seen other Patreons affected by the policy change are doing, is updating with a legally okay thumbnail, and telling the Patrons that the new page is on their Patreon Discord.

But Kabier is doing something more convoluted; they're updating the comic on Patreon with the humans as furry dudes so it stays on there, but now are apparently putting the original, human-dude version on a completely different paywall site. It's just baffling why make MORE work for yourself than you need to?
