I can only see this series ending with 2 scenarios:

Tooru has been relegated to side-character status now, so he's irrelevant. The only one who could and would fuck things up for these 2 is Shiori but I wouldn't rule out Sasaki as the catalyst for the next developments, especially seeing how this chapter ends on school grounds.
