@mrprozac As an editor for the LWB scanlation group, I can clearly tell that nearly all of your text boxes have grey rectangles inside them. Your rectangle fill tool isn't fully white but rather, a slight shade of grey. Starting on page 6, you have grey rectangles in nearly all of your speech bubbles all the way through to the end of the doujin. I'll outline an example on page 6 so you can see that I'm not bullshitting you: https://puu.sh/H1ZqI/974add17b4.png.

To exactly find out where your grey rectangles are, simply create a levels layer with the grey value all the way to the right. By doing this, the rectangles become crystal clear, and you can always deactivate the leveling layer by pressing the "eye" icon next to the layer. This is how I know your some of your bubbles on page 6 aren't fully cleaned using that fully grey leveling layer: https://puu.sh/H1ZtJ/fd23f7f748.png
From there, you can simply copy the layer to other files in your workflow.

When I loaded up your files in Photoshop, I noticed that they're in RGB color rather than greyscale. This is a 6-step guide to converting your files from RGB color to greyscale 32-color PNGs to cut down on bloat:

Your typesetting's not too bad, especially considering the vertical bubbles. And at least your scanlation is a lot better than the "official" translation, and it's your very first scanlation. Other than those 2 issues, the grey rectangles and the RGB color, your project's not all that bad. Now if only more people put in even 1% of the effort you did in their scanlations, especially since you use Photoshop to edit rather than GIMP.

EDIT: There's a white rectangle on the top right panel of page 14 (not 15) on the character's forehead. I don't know what's with you and rectangles, but it's there.

EDIT 2: In all my projects I've done, I've never flattened anything. Flattening is only useful if you want to save space on your base PSD files (or in your case, PSDC - PSDs on the Adobe Cloud). To experiment, I copied one of my PSDs from a project I'm doing right now and flattened it. The base PSD file is 3.48 MB and the flattened one is just over 1 MB. But when I exported the image as a 32-color greyscale PNG, the filesizes were identical at 618 KB, so flattening does nothing for when you have to actually export the image. Also, what if you have to make revisions should you make other mistakes? I'd rather have the versatility of being able to quickly make changes without essentially having to redo the entire page, just with english text, than saving a MB or 2. Basically, don't flatten your images, because again, what if you have to make corrections later on?

As to how I clean bubbles, I simply use a single layer with a 100% pure white (or black) brush tool, and use my stylus to precisely brush out the text. No layer masks necessary. At least that's what I do.

Thanks a lot for the extensive feedback, i really appreciate it.

The rectangle tool was a lazy way on my end to edit out the original text since my drawing tablet hadn't arrived when editing this gallery.
Since i received the tablet today i will redo it and update this gallery later today.

As for the RGB color profile, i'll take that into account in my future works.

EDIT: I do all my work in layers, seperate layers for the masks (cleaning), typed text & SFX.
The rectangles seem to be an artifact created for unknown reasons in Photoshop 2021 when flattening the image.
I am unsure as to why this happens, but i hope to figure it out and work around it.
