1. Yes, generally girls shouldn't give it up on the first date. But, borrowing your terminology, the risks nowadays are more social than biological. Namely: if you're dating strangers, you need a couple dates to vet whether they are a psycho, serial killer, etc. There are plenty of modern tools to address the biological risks.
