What? That cannot be typo, on minimal keyboard 3 is 6 keys away from 0 same on full keyboard, how fucking big your finger must be to pressed 3 on full keyboard keypad in stead of 0 which is as big as 2 keys?

typeset don't know how to read analog clock? To typeset you have to fucking looking at the image, it is all on 1 page yet somehow a clock shown just over 0 or 12 for 1 or 2 minutes become over 3:00AM

I doubt it’s a combination of “So dumb they can’t read a clock” AND “Mistranslated the Japanese sentence.” They mention they used DeepL, which has no problem with a sentence as simple as, “ 0時すぎだ...!” Given the other types of errors (not uploading the last page, typo for ‘them’), these seem more like regular mistakes combined with a lack of proofreading. Maybe the typesetter had Oyasumi Sex am3:00 on their mind, then had a brain fart when typing the time out? Regardless, this shows why proofreading is so vital!

This time error definitely needs to be fixed. There’s a big difference between a sister who waits until midnight to say “Happy Birthday” and one who waits until after 3 AM. The midnight sister was eagerly waiting for the moment his birthday started. The 3 AM sister might also want to say it, but is putting it off for some reason. This makes a huge difference in the mood! When the typesetter fixes this, I’d suggest ending the sentence with a “...!” like it originally was in Japanese, rather than a “...” like the current translation.

The 3am thing must of been an issue with my OCR. Because DeepL said 3am. Yeah I def need to work on proof reading got a little too excited to post it :(. I could upload fixed pages, not sure if people really do that very often though. Also honestly I honestly did not even think of looking at the clock either.

Really most of this was just me trying out type setting for fun so I appreciate the feedback.

Yeah, it’s hard to resist that temptation. When you put a bunch of time and effort into translating and typesetting everything, it’s exciting when you finally reach a complete product! It’s tough to clamp down that excitement and make yourself go back to polish everything up. Unfortunately, it’s necessary.

This is where being in a group is nice. You can finish your part, then pass it along to the proofreader for a while. It distributes that polishing stage a bit.
