The cheeky and sometimes overdone nerd shit in the dialogue at least comes off as more honest to the source material than the stumbling try hard Star Wars we get from Mickey Mao at Disney.

For those not familiar with togruta physiology, the bits on the top of the head are called montrals, while the headtails are called lekku (same as twi'leks, except they don't look like tumors on togruta).
Lekku are fleshy like normal and purely aesthetic, but montrals are hard, hollow horns that are used to detect vibrations up to 90 feet away; like a mix of ears and sonar.
It really kills my immersion to see them squish like that, when there's a perfectly good substitute in the lekku there.

I'd be down for a Luke meets an older, MILFier Ahsoka Tano and they have a kid to set up a new protagonist. Not sure about Togruta specifically, but Twi'lek seem to be related in some way, and humans can for sure reproduce with Twi'leks (with viable offspring even!) in the official canon.

I mean I'd still rather it be Mara Jade... but then. I'm kinda glad Disney hasn't butchered my favorite Star Wars character yet.

I suppose that means she's next.

Rogue Squadron is already on the chopping block.

They'll probably make a Mara Jade movie starring that plank of wood Bri Larson.

Those are horns on the top of her head (they are hollow and used for echolocation), only the tails flowing down from them are "soft". The horns shouldn't smush when he grabs them. ^^
