this reminds me of an actual game i've played called "Kinky Dungeon".
it's a simple turn-based game with lots of bondage-related rules.
there's a locking spell and an unlocking spell, but they are "intricate" and can't be used while gagged.
and some spells requite "arm gestures".
there's even a few that use "leg gestures", which won't work if your character's leg are tightly bound.
one of the sillier things i've seen in that game is an enchanted gag that's supposed to make your spells do more damage...
