Definitely much better than the previous version, but moansetting could use some actual styling and vertical text alignment like on page 14, panel 3 should never be a thing.
I'll also commend you for for not using the resampled version, though with filesizes as big as this reducing the resolution to something around x3000 wouldn't be unreasonable.
Beyond that it's alright.

Anyway, not really. I mean for sure, vertical alignment generally 'looks' like shit, but it's also something you just don't do in english lettering.
It's also a readability issue.

If you really want to be autistic about it you can pretty much regard anything concerning editing as "preference", as there is no official law stipulating what constitutes an offense and what does not.
Including the infamous GTO typesetting, so eh. So that doesn't actually mean a whole lot.

As an aside, if I actually used my own standards for criticism I'd actually go over formating or even if shit is off-centered by a few pixels.
Though I think that's generally a bit much for randos.

Remember when I did the 'looks' thing? I was actually agreeing with you that it's 'technically' also a preference. Though it's also true that it's not something you're actually supposed to do in english lettering.
We read things from left to right, not from top to bottom. And while I 'do' think it's not as much of an "offense" when it's not actual words being vertically aligned, it's still something we tend to teach newbies.

I mean, artist typesetting tends to be the equivalent of using Times New Roman on everything except stuff that's obviously hand drawn, so eh.
Though yeah, it's technically a preference, it's also a matter of professionalism among the people I tend to discuss editing with.

You're expressing your preferences as facts. If you want something to you personal preference then do it yourself. I did this scanlation mostly because the last one had made up translations so I wanted to fix it to my personal preference. Vertical styling is preference. The raw has barely any different typeset for the moans, just like my scanlation. So again, if that doesn't please you please do it yourself instead of complaining unless you see an actual error that's not personal preference.

You can offer what you said as suggestions. TL'ers can take it as a sounding on what people MAY want over time. But that's not criticism....as stated these are preferences. I've worked with enough groups to know.
