This is my pure specalution, you can take it or not.

tldr Phase Erika :the story is about Miho trying to find a different way senshado from Nishizumi style, meanwhile Erika trying to catch Maho's shadow to become more like Nishizumi Style. What Miho do is a betrayal for Erika. After she failed get win 62nd National High School Sensha-Dō Tournament, now Erika (from her perspective) know what Miho true color that Miho is a betrayal that make Erika really hate Miho.

In other hand, Shiho angry with her daughter and scold her with Maho in her side. Tbh the page 31 is when Shiho crying that Miho finally come back probably because her mistake that scold Miho so viciously. So she happy when her daughter finally coming home after a long time and make a big apologize to Miho. tbh, Shiho probably really very guilty about scolding Miho, she went anything just to make Miho happy without Miho knows it. One of the proof is when Shiho try to defend Oorai not being closed by Renta Tsuji after Oorai's win in the tournament. but it just my speculation for this doujin.

Back to the story now. Do you know why Maho always said that Erika must find her way for senshado? it because Erika trying to follow Miho's shadow and somehow Miho feels it corrupt her. This Nishizumi style make Erika become not as herself and Maho don't like it. Maho hope Erika can be like her sister, finally free from Nishizumi Style and has her own way. In other hand, Maho itself never went to tell about it and keep silent until she graduated and went to Germany. Remember in Das Finale when Miho want to Erika find her own way for senshado and don't follow Nishizumi style anymore? don't care win or lose, Erika must has her own way to senshado.

that is the background for this doujin from vol1 to vol 3 that probably, after Erika is graduated, Nishizumi Style still in her heart and corrupt her. Maho doesn't like it.

Maho's issue can be summed as she can't be herself being that she's the supposed successor to the Nishizumi style, she has to act the part and the burden is getting to her a bit, but as you noticed in the ending Miho instead became the successor, so sometime between the events after the onsen and final panel, Maho probably either got disowned by Shiho or decided to finally "retire" from Senshado after becoming pregnant.

I'd correct you that Erika after becoming the captain of Kuromine tried to chase after Miho and Maho but she keeps on landing on "dead ends" according to the doujin's setting, now we havent seen GuP Finale with Kuromine where Erika is now the captain of their Senshado team if her style is trying to chase a high wall or she found a way to differentiate herself
