Furthermore, what pronoun a character is referred to isn't a factor when it comes to tagging futanari — it's purely visual. You can see a character has a dingdong and a vagoo, that's instant female:futanari tag, it doesn't matter if they're referred to as a dude, a girl,or an attack helicopter. Check tag definitions first, and only ask if you're not sure.

@FalconWarGreyLord Crim doesn't quite "answer to him." It's a Japanese work, Japanese doesn't have such strictly gendered pronouns, and any "him/her" shit is entirely just translators picking something and running with it. It's debatable which one would actually be the best, since Crim does want people to think they're a boy, but specifically for the sake of misleading them so the horny dudes they hang out with don't try to stick their dicks in. So yeah, it DOES make sense for other characters to refer to them as "he/him" since that's what they're led to think and they DO call them a boy more specifically at times, but you just gotta keep in mind whenever reading anything Japanese that how characters refer to themselves isn't saying they're a boy and how others refer to them usually isn't gendering at all, and it gets weirder in cases like this where a character actually does say "I'm a boy!" but then has a mental monologue saying "I have to tell them I'm a boy because if they find out I'm a futanari with a vagina they'll want to fuck it."

The ideal would just be using a more gender-neutral pronoun when a character who knows about the pussy talks about them, but that doesn't really work in English because it sounds fucking stupid when you do shit like I've been doing calling them "them."

All that aside, I'm not actually sure what the problem is in this doujin specifically 'cuz it seems like there were some deleted comments, unless I'm blind the only time anyone used any pronouns here was some of the aforementioned main characters that should in fact be saying "he" because they're supposed to think Crim just has a penis, so what's the issue? Was it really just the "female:futanari" tag?

@JoyPanda The sole dubbed episode, the narrator did use “they”/“them”, but for the aforementioned plot reasons, Crim’s companions use “he”/“him”. Have there been any other angels depicted in the manga yet? Wonder how that’ll be handled, especially in fan works and discussions.

@NeverGonnaGive Yes actually, the manga continues past where the anime ends, and they IMMEDIATELY introduce more angels(a good opportunity for season 2) we don't get a confirmation(A vague one however) until MUCH later when an angel goes to check up on Crim and finds them fucking Demia, and without thinking, starts masturbating. We don't SEE what they have, but judging by how their arm's positioned, they were likely jerking their cock(Not that it was explicitly said either way, but it's also not said if Crim was special). It could be that all angels in this world have both parts.
