I never know whether I should TL japanese honorifics as is i.e. -sama, -chan, -san or whether I should contextualize them as lord, mister, etc. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Some of the "boxes" are intentionally blank. English looks weird TL-ed vertically and I've done my best to keep the art after blanking out existing text.

It's better not to do any localization. Use them as they are.

I think you missed a space on page 28.
Page 44 needs some touch ups on the grammar.
Page 55 needs some work too.
Page 58 has a strange "you've".

CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT.

Are the characters *explicitly* speaking Japanese? If yes, then don't translate. Are they only speaking Japanese as a shorthand of another alien language? TRANSLATE THEM.

In this case, in a medieval fantasy setting taking place ostensibly in Europe, translate the FUCK out of them.

For example, if you're translating a Japanese Harry Potter doujin, translating "Professor Snape" as "Snape-sensei" makes absofuckinglutely NO fucking sense.

You need to really dig deep and translate WHAT the characters are actually saying. Does Bob the Sword Dude call the elf girl "Elf-san"? Well, they're not in Japan, and he's not Japanese, and they're not technically speaking Japanese in CONTEXT, so have him call her "Elfie" or "Miss Elf" depending on if he's joking around or playing it straight.

Conversely, in Fantasy Japanland where everyone dresses like samurai and miko and carry katana, fuck yeah throw around those -sans and -senseis and -chans and stuff all you want.

So yes, you SHOULD contextualize them. But not 100% of the time. Knowing *when* to contextualize and when to *not* do so is the sign of a good translator.

And for the record, Japanese translators of English have the opposite problem: We're so casual with everyone that they have no fucking idea how to translate dialogue. What WOULD Bobby Hill call Hank? Papa? Tou-san? Otou-san? What does Hank call Cotton?

So yeah, CONTEEEEEEXXXXXXXTTTTTTTT

Page 128 should have a "wouldn't".
Page 143 has a "MVOE".
Page 144 has "I'm come back".

Now this is good corruption. Slow and targeting the victim's weakness instead of magically snapping fingers, cast some bullshit "heal" spell and turning her into a slut. Was this so fucking hard to do?

This is gonna be a long one, isn't it?

I do wish you do more of these though. There's a lot similar to this that really needs translating.

Page 166, "submit" is the wrong tense.
Page 181 seems inconsistent with the previous translation note.
Ditto for 183.
Page 184 seems to be missing a word in the last sentence.
Page 186, "It's now!" seems like a strange line.
Page 202 is another family inconsistency.

If honorifics already are in the original text, there is no reason to remove them in the translation
