Page 141 is where the whole fucking thing falls apart.

Her best friend, her lover, is on death's door. She's been fighting through hell and high water, pretty much fucking literally. Her lover gets some attention, but it's shaky and she's still not awake. She should be sitting right there next to her all night long.

Oh but no, see, our MC is just a goddamn whore. See all she wants is dick and to fuck, so she goes up to the GODDAMN BANDIT who threatened to rob them and outright fucks them, right there, not 5 feet from her supposed lover.

At that point, she became irredeemable garbage and there is no reason to give a shit about her "problems". I felt no sympathy for her when she "revealed" she had a "troubled past", because she very fucking clearly didn't fucking learn from it or even fucking care she repeated it in the future. Nope, she just wants goddamn dick.

Fuck this character and fuck anyone who writes like this or defends shitty writing like this.

@Daneasaur Wow dude. When it comes to her lover being injured it's understandable to want to stay away since she was the one who hurt them and she fears she may do it again so stays away. Second calm the fuck down man, who are you to judge the contents of another persons artistic world? Ever consider its how things are done in this FANTASY world and therefore perfectly natural for them? Besides given her lovers character I seriously doubt she would mind in the first place.

@Mars11 The entire sequence was horrible and shows how her focus is just on how much fucking she can do as opposed to having any emotional investment in her friend/lover. Nope, just gonna jump on the bandit's dick because FUCK LOGIC OF ANY SORT.

Adding to it, said bandit doesn't do jack shit besides stick her dick in people. That's literally all her character is, and I found out is some moron's OC who they paid to have put in the comic. Basically, the whole sex scene that RUINED our main character? Yeah, commissioned bullshit that had no place in the story.

I have no sympathy for the main character anymore due to that one scene and she deserves every single bad thing that ever happens to her, past or present.

That entire ending sequence of that chapter needs to be redone with that insulting scene removed.

Much as I love this comic, I wish they would dial it back on the Fen and Vix stuff.

I love them as a couple (the kids are cute and I'm glad they got hitched!) it's just that I feel like there's too much focus on their romance and not enough focus on moving the story forward.

Too be fair, they don't seem aware of what someone with real mastery of Hadalen is capable of. Heck, most of the people we've see outside the monastery don't seem to realize how fucking deadly it can be in the hands of someone who has honed the skill to it's peak. In fact, most of the spellcasters in this gang (not sure if the gun guy uses magic for it or not) seem to be using the most basic form of it, which equates to "blast them with it". Our girl however has precision construct control. Not something they would ever encounter, being such a small time slave ring.

TL-DR Version: Small minded crooks who think they know/seen everything get a reality check on what REAL power looks like.
