I get that this is fetish material but it could really use some better writing. Like if you're going to introduce the real life circumstances of being a trans person coming out and living as themselves in a repressive environment then you could also avoid bullcrap like making the character drop all their hobbies and academic interests. I'm only part-way through but the forced change in school curriculum to a more "feminine" one was ridiculous enough that it dragged me out of any sort of fun I was having with the rest of the story.
