Hello, what version of Waifu2x do you use for zooming in? I used waifu2x-caffe and waifu2x-converter, noise reduction x3, but can not achieve your picture effect. I don't know if I can reply, thank you.

I know this is years late. I used Waifu2x-caffe I think the model was either (CUnet) or (UpResNet10) and chose “Denoise & Magnify” denoise level was 2 and magnify was 4. Then I brought them into Photoshop and scaled them down to 2x original size. Then repeated the process with Denoise at 1 and magnification at 2. Again I scaled them back down to 2x and the final pass was the same as last but leaving them scaled to 4x. Then at the end I reloaded them back into Photoshop and did the longest slowest png image compression to keep the file size relatively small. The ones uploaded here were converted to jpgs I think and compressed to 85% again for a smaller file size without sacrificing to much color depth. Sorry for the late and lengthy explanation. Hope this helps. Btw you can already batch in Waifu2x caffe but you can also set up photoshop to batch the downscale and final compression for minimal hassle.
