Side-scrolling "beat 'em ups" I feel like are having a resurgence, with Streets of Rage 4 being a pretty awesome release in 2020! Dragon's Crown is in that genre, and man, I just love these games. They bring me back to a time when I was a kid and I would play the Simpsons, X-men, or Ninja Turtles arcade cabinets for hours with friends. Those games did NOT have characters quite like our Sorceress here though, haha. And playing alone was a death wish. Unless you were a prodigy, you'd never make it far. The Sorceress won't either...
