i randomly watch ep7 of dubbed Machikado Mazoku and end up with this thought Momo's japanese voice is monotone to reflect her efficient, lonely character who single-mindedly do her stuffs before Yuuko came into her life. She speaks in cold tone. On face value, dubbed Momo's voice sound too loud/deep compared to original, in youtube comments people usually say Japanese dub have more emotion/feelings but that simply due to tone limitation of the language. think it this way: this is how someone like Momo would talk if she were speaking english, cold and uncaring.
