The release of a second Space Jam movie gave me a couple great reasons to make a comic about it. 1.) More Lola Bunny. More Lola Bunny is always good. 2.) Meta commentary. I love me some good meta commentary, and it's kind of Loony Tunes whole thing. When the internet got all mad about Lola's "toned down" design...welp, it gave me fuel for the fire. And food for a female Monstar.

"Fresh off the court after a nighttime practice session, Lola Bunny goes to get washed up in the solitude of the empty locker room. But her solitude is shattered when an unexpected visitor reveals herself: the first female Monstar Lola has ever laid eyes on, and she's come to deliver some unfortunate news to our heroine.

Times have changed, and the Lola Bunny we all knew and loved no longer has a place in society—at least, not on the big screen."

All the hate about this is especially ironic when you go back and look at how Lola was redrawn and deliberately over-sexualized for the first movie.
No one seemed to hate changing the character back then...

^ Considering that she debuted in the movie, that was the first impression the public got of her. Any in-production changes wouldn't really factor in, since characters changing during development before getting finalised is the norm.
