@The Darkened Blue My guess is either Bowser ate him, Bowser scared him off, or Kamek turned him into a Goomba or Koopa for eternity, with all 3 being options because he was an actual potential threat to Bowser's ability to eventually marry Peach, due to Peach actually showing interest in the guy (She's never shown interest in Mario beyond using her feminine wiles to get him to rescue her repeatedly, and while the fan theory of Rosalina being the daughter of Luigi and Peach is a fun one, there's even less evidence of her ever being interested in Luigi, so both the Mario Bros aren't actual threats to Bowser's plan, just fun nuisances that invite him to various Sports events and Party games from time to time.)
