I made this merely for killing time using google translate and deepl websites. Take in account I'm no translator and there might me things out of context or that could have been better written.

My image manipulation skills are minimal and I only use GIMP so expect nothing fancy or pretty.

PD: I felt too lazy to translate the author comments page, anyone with better skills and image editing experience feel free to do a better version of the doujin.

That's the reason why I made this in my spare time, I don't know Japanese so all I could do was rely on the tools I found, Also because it was a fun experience doing this for the first time but now I get why some translators take a lot of time to do proper translations, lots of work so I really respect that now.

I have seen works from popular artists like Butcha-U and Neromashin not being translated until more than half a year later, so between that and receiving only an unprofessional translation, i will always be content with this. So thank you, even though i can see where the other folks are coming from.

Maybe next time you should put a disclaimer in front of the title? Also remove the word Doujinshi from it, since it's in the categorization anyway.

I read the whole thing and I can tell is mostly accurate. So whoever put rewrite should consider reading what that tag means.

Other thing, if he used machine translation and other programs to make the translation more fluid makes more clear with less mistakes from google alone.

Are you fluent in japanese to come here to bitch those users that try give us things that may never get translated? If you are then why you bother coming here? You dont need english for anything if you know japanese or if you are that good why don't you translate yourself and give to public? If i were fluent in japanese I wouldnt need to check any translations, raws all the way.

And I seen many times others saying things like this too: if people do this type of translation makes the official translators not translating them? What? Why wouldn't they translate if the available one was really a rewrite? That makes no sense. Now if they see current gallery available translated and translation is sufficient and accurate to pass then yes you wouldnt waste time in a thing that was done right. But hey how many other official translations were released but someone other groups also picked them and put their versions? Tons of them so there you have it. If any group has really a desire to translate something they will do it even though there is some translation available already because they like it.

This was my personal opinion about this users that want to help at bringing us more content in english vs those that dont know japanese or know a bit but want perfect english release. While is true some do poorly others do well like this one and you cant put everyone in same boat or label machine translation instantly rewrite when isnt truly the case. Rewrite is you pick up the story and alter all context and core of story to something totally different but this was a direct translation of said story.

Good job on the translation and effort Emiya. You may try ask those guys to help you, maybe you get lucky and one decide to help you on future releases and good luck.

I still say personality excretion needs a dedicated tag... as it is, it's impossible to find by cross referencing transformation and mind break or whatever, right, that's not specific enough. The only way to find it right now is to hope that the tag is in the title!

It is obvious that English is not your first language, and you also freely admit that you do not know Japanese either. So you'll have to forgive me when I call bullshit on you praising this book and claiming that it is "mostly accurate." You literally would not know how accurate it is because you do not understand the source language and do not have a firm grasp on the target language. Folks like you are precisely why garbage like this keeps being made. Either people like you put out trash like this gallery, or shovel trash like this into your mouths while praising those who did.

Things like this -do not- help to bring more content into English. The fact that there are English words on the page does not mean that the work itself has been translated. Just being able to read English words does not mean you are reading what the original work actually was. And that's the critical difference you and so many others seem to miss when it comes to translation.

You also contradict yourself; you try to claim that this is not a rewrite...and then also try to claim that it won't dissuade real translators from translating it because it -is- a rewrite. Which is it? Either it's a rewrite, in which case most of us have that tag filtered anyway...or it's not a rewrite, and both morons will think it's actually a real translation, and real translators may pass it over merely for existing.

Personally, I support the addition of a "machine" language tag. While many times the "Rewrite" tag is well-deserved (because the uploader couldn't figure out what was being said since their machine translator failed them, and instead just guess based on the imagery...which is a rewrite), a "machine" tag for trash like this would be much more fitting. That way those of us who have zero interest in low-effort useless crap can filter them out, and folks like you can continue to shovel it down your gobs in blissful ignorance.

To explain why I choose personality excretion instead of personality secretion, the thing is that the male picked up all the milk nero secreted and gave it back to her as an enema, the milk itself being her materialized personality, later she shits her personality in a bucket and a pretty much all artists I see in twitter and pixiv do the "personality excretion" works in this fashion.

Nomake Wan yes my main language it isnt english but I agree there should be a machine translation tag. About japanese I know a bit because I studied for 3 years at least. I can't read all kanji of course but can understand quite a bit and if it is voice is easier to understand as I can watch anime raw. And I can guarantee you this translation didnt went astray of what was going on. I just said that because is frustrating seeing people wanting to share more stuff in english and call rewrite which isn't, it is machine translated. But I guess is the tag you try claim for bad translation then there is poor grammar tag. If someone pick up this for "correct english" translation try compare both and you will see it wont be far off. what this person lack is more vocabulary or the way they construct the sentence. If he didnt say anything about machine translation what you think this would be?

@subz3ro: Why is it that folks like you think that if an uploader doesn't say outright it's machine translated that somehow those of us who do know the language won't notice? You realize I've already busted several uploaders who claimed to be competent translators and made no mention of MTL doing that, right? It's obvious when someone does it, because mistakes that make zero sense to those who can read the original will crop up. Mistakes that simply cannot be explained unless either the person doesn't know Japanese and is guessing (rewrite), or their machine translator gives them a faulty answer and they guess (rewrite).

You studied Japanese for three years? That's excellent. That's more than the uploader has bothered to invest in their education. But when was that? Have you bothered to continue your studies? Do you actively use it? Forever ago when I had only three years under my belt, I was not great. I certainly wouldn't be able to cross-check every little inconsistency in a translation by that point. It sounds like you gave up, which is too bad since we desperately need people who actually understand Japanese to help translate stuff so that people like this guy stop doing stupid shit like MTLing.

"Try to help?" People who have zero skill do not need "a little assistance." They have no skill. There is nothing to "help." I spend over a decade learning Japanese. The "help" people like this need is actually learning the language, and that's not something I'm going to be able to offer them, and it isn't something they're going to be able to do in any sort of short time frame. People like this have absolutely no business "translating" anything. That's why real translators don't "try to help" people like this. Because it would take far longer to be every single scrub's personal Japanese tutor than it would be to just do all the work ourselves from scratch and pretend that what they did doesn't exist. On top of that, many of these folks also have sub-par editing skills, so even if I offered to be their QC and fixed every last line in the book, the resulting product would still look like crap. So why bother? I'll just translate the whole thing from scratch myself, then put up an editing bounty on E-H and wait until an actually competent editor comes along to put the words to the page. Feel free to check my uploads for examples.

As for Chinese and Korean translations, do you know why the Chinese and Koreans have translations out quickly? Do you think it might, just maybe, have to do with similarities in their language? In fact, since you don't actually speak either of those languages, don't you think that maybe, just maybe, they have some of the same problems the English community has? I do. Linguistics is a tough thing, but having similarities in writing systems certainly helps speed things along. Plus there's a shitload more Chinese people on here who can read Japanese than there are English-speaking people who can read Japanese.

EDIT: Actually, checking the DLSite page for this doujinshi, the author is actually a Chinese native. The book was published in both Japanese and Chinese straight from the original author. So the fact that a Chinese translation exists is irrelevant in this particular instance. As for the Korean translation, I ran the uploader's comment and the user comments through Google (so, as always, take it with a grain of salt). The uploader apparently was checking this out since the physical book came out, and the moment the digital went up went ahead and worked on it. One of the commenters, however, points out that he got at least one of the translations wrong (the user pointed out that the kanji 仮 on p15 means 'temporary', not 'fake'). So it would appear that my comments above are spot on.

You want a translation done? Put up a bounty. And if you know what's good for you, make sure you have someone on hand who actually understands Japanese to check it over for you.

So yeah. As I have said time and time again in gallery after gallery, if you do not understand the source language and do not have a firm grasp over the target language, then don't even bother trying to "translate." It's a waste of time and effort, and it helps precisely no one.

Nomake Wan I see what you mean now why you prefer not to help and doing from scratch yourself. So if the said job is done poorly it would give a lot more work to try fix than doing yourself.
