He had an unclear contract dispute and decided to try and drag Cover through the mud on twitter instead of having any sort of discussion. Things escalated involving Bilibili and Chinese antis, and the entire thing was a shitstorm that didn't need to happen. There are lots of rumors and possibilities, but since he was the only person working on HoloAlt to have a dispute, and he had to eventually walk it back, it absolutely reflected poorly on him more than Hololive.
