I saw someone uploaded a version with less censorship,
so I took the opportunity to polish the first volume up a bit while I worked on the sequel.
I did noticed the digital version I used had more censorship than the physical copy I bought afterwards,
but there wasn't really much I could do about it until now.

The file size is also a lot smaller since I saved them as PNGs this time, so thank Anime Janai for suggesting that.

Thanks for the translation. The raws were in low resolution for you because you didn't download the original resolution version of it. Instead you downloaded and used the 1280x resolution resample version, probably by mistake. The raw resolution was 4300x6000, which is by no means low. Please pay attention in the future and please use the original resolution in your next project.

While this is definitely a step up from the previous editing, now it has the opposite problem; the files are too big. The inner pages were saved as lossless full color jpg, which is for the most part a terrible format for greyscale manga. I'm pretty sure the raw had the same problem, so it's not really your fault, but in the future it's something worth looking at.

Converting the inner images to greyscale pngs reduces the filesize of the complete gallery to 129mb, with no loss in image quality.

The JPG filesizes can be reduced without any change to the image data being displayed. You use photoshop and it seems to have reserved a lot of data areas inside the JPG files. Those can be squeezed out. For example, the cover picture #1 is 3.45MB but can be squished down to 3.04MB. After the filler space was squeezed out, the set was 596MB. I used the JPG Lossless Transformation option inside of the IRFANVIEW image viewer program. You can access it with SHIFT J for any displayed image, then select "None" at the top of the menu to peform optimizing and cleaning. To do batch of the whole folder, while displaying an image, press "T" to display the thumbnails menu, then control A to pick all the images. Right click on an image and pick "JPG Lossless Operations" followed by "Lossless rotation with selected files". Since you are rotating them zero degrees, the only thing that happens is that the files get optimized.
SAVINGS (as lossless JPG processed by Irfanview):
Picture 01: 3.45 MB ---> 3.04 MB 12%
Picture 09: 16.84 MB ---> 13.02 MB 12.9%
Picture 12: 17.31 MB ---> 13.6 MB 12.7%

The above JPG is used for color images. However, B/W and grayscale manga/doujin images at e-hentai are mostly whitespace and therefore should use PNG lossless as @qazmlpok said in a previous gallery comment. There's a number of free PNG tools out there. RIOT is freeware and can do batch mode compressions. You can see that comparing the PNG filesize savings to the JPG savings, which is better.
SAVINGS (as lossless PNG processed by RIOT):
Picture 03: 15.24 MB ---> 2.02 MB 86%
Picture 09: 16.84 MB ---> 2.02 MB 88%
Picture 12: 17.31 MB ---> 2.14 MB 88%

Compressing the gallery with no loss in image quality, the RAR archive with 5% recovery record overhead is 119 MB using RIOT with its OptiPNG to compress the grayscale files and Irfanview to squish the filler space out of the color images.
