UPDATED: Added the title page provided by the original creator and edited page 28 for a more accurate translation of French slang.

Acknowledgements to the original creators: Stilet and Gonzales. This gallery was originally in Russian, translated to French, then to English, then back to French, and now back to English. Apparently Lida didn't have much to say at first, nor was there any reference to her mother. Thanks again to Stilet for information, corrections and the Cover Page.

Did this story need to be translated? It's not well rated; snuff stories aren't terribly popular. I don't even like snuff stories. But while perusing 3D-tagged galleries, I came across this story. The attempt to give a snuff story some kind of plot or background that wasn't (quite) the flimsiest, tropiest excuse to present gory dismemberment and blood fascinated me. Did the creator succeed in this endeavor? Well, no...not really. There is too much unanswered to consider the effort all that serious.

In what reality does this story take place, that a man and his brother hanged the man's wife two years ago, and now are impaling and crucifying the daughter...in public, no less?

Are we to assume, with reason, that this is a misogynistic, masochistic society where women are slaves that expect to be ritually killed? The response of our victim, Lida, cannot be accurately read from what is presented in the original language, if French is indeed the original language (I have my doubts)[SEE NOTE: turns out it was Russian]. She seems to react to her father's birthday present with jocularity, then horror, then embarrassment, then gratitude. She finds her father's suggestion of "clean the yard or we kill you horribly" not by running away screaming and calling for help, but by trepidatiously accepting the wager. She accepts her loss, which means HER DEATH, remember; stoically, but not with actual joy. This itself is a bit unusual while still being highly questionable; many snuff stories present (almost always women) who WANT to be murdered horribly. Consider Dolcett stories.

Because the original story is so uneven, I have characterized the translation with a bit of humor, while trying not to deviate from the intent (as best as I could understand it.) Even in a few places where I have significantly changed the words or sentences used, my dialogue is essentially the same. Only once did I literally change an object when the meaning was (seemingly) clear: pipes being imbibed over the course of several days I changed to "cases of beer". the implication of drug use (and I do take it as an intentional reference to, probably, meth) seemed to come from nowhere, while there are multiple references to beer and alcohol.

I don't expect people to enjoy this, or praise my efforts...as I said, snuff isn't popular on the best of days, and I don't even like it myself. This story was more akin to seeing a wreck between a motorcycle and a semi where the semi is totaled and the motorcycle and rider are ok...as horrible as it is, you naturally have QUESTIONS.

Hmmm... I can see why you translated it but frankly, Dolcett's stories made a lot more sense.

As you said, snuff isn't popular but sex and death is a main component of Sade's stories (without forgetting "the hundred thousand whips" by Guillaume Appolinaire, to vomit). It should say something about human soul, but I'm not here to judge.
Anyway, I translated the original English text to French (taking into account bubbles sizes) then I added some more texts to mute images .. and added again some sentences here and there to insure fittings, always guided by the images ! For examples, dialogs shall match to facial expressions, even if, sometimes, it's not so obvious. As sculptors say, "matter speaks and the hand follows".
Many thank to Gonzales and Stilet for their job and, if someone has a complete version of "ToughLove_65", I would like to translate it into French as well ... maybe more "loyally" if it's possible.

The similiar story.

The "Cinderella and the Prince": pictures by Gonzales, but my order, my storyline and my text.
