The distinction makes sense due to them referring to different involved parties.
Giant/Giantess refers to whichever one is big.
Miniguy/Minigirl refers to whichever one is small.

So you could have a duo of Giantess and Miniguy, which would be different from Giantess and Minigirl, or Giant and Minigirl, for example.
It's useful for people who care about the sex of the small party, though I don't think the majority care, but it's existence is justified.

@shote139 lol, normal reaction you got there to somebody suggesting maybe tags aren't perfect. Obviously "giantess" and "miniguy" imply different things, but I feel most people into the fetish are not that concerned about what is ultimately a nuance. Certainly there should be a better system than having to check several different tags to make sure you're not missing out on new releases.
If mild disagreement is enough to make you go cry for MODS!! then I'm not sure there's much to talk about

@The_Mastermid see, that would kind of work, but the issue is at this point "miniguy/girl" covers the specific aspect of shrinking, rather than the sex of the smaller party, and it's supposed to be mutually exclusive with the "giant(ess)" tag. Your system would actually be smarter imo, because clearly more people care about the sex of people in the work, rather than how the size difference is specifically achieved.

The problem is what you call "your rule". You've never said that was "your suggestion". There is a lot different between "rule" and "suggestion". You can not force people applies "your rule" while it's wrong. I will follow "your rule" if it's rightful rule. But there are such things really called as rules at https://ehwiki.org/wiki/, and i just apply the rules to what i do here. Am i wrong about enforcing rules here ?! I dont think so ~

I do not cry to the Mods, like what you distort my argument, i need a judgement to "your rule". The Mods just simply do their job, if you were right, i would be taken a warning from them. They won't interfere just a single case like this.

"suggestion" = it's just suggesting something, the other people will freely make their decision to apply it or not.
"rule" = something has been made to force people to comply.

Every single word is counted exactly in any record at any courts.
While i quote exact what is on ehwiki (the law) and some one comes and say "my rule is *blah blah..blah", even i gave him the source link for him to check what i said was right or wrong but that one did not aware.
And this is what i feel. I feel i was a defendant and that one with his "rule", and his followers becomes accusers. So i need a lawyer / arbitrator (aka the Mods), that is my final move. Even i had already told him to proactively get a Mod came here to have a final judgement. But he did not dare. Why ? Because he knows the most... Then, he distorted what i did, he assumed me "cry for MOD..."... And now he "attacks" me on my personal. So what do you think, AM I WRONG HERE ?! And some how, what i did here is just a "tiny nano-justice" but it's still be a part of "justice". Such as a sand/dirt gets in a mussel, we will get a pearl by the time.
