581-san says that behind the bunny ears on the phone, it says 素体再現人格 (Base Body Reproduction Personality) and 基本人格 (Basic Personality) while the latter is selected. I tried finding a way to put the latter in the image, but the ears would cover up the words. The words are covered up in the Japanese as well.

切替 and 切り替え means to switch. It seemed to use the same format as in cool bishoujo chapter 8.

The scary part isn't experiencing the procedure, but what happens after it's done. It's either she got broken by the initial mind raping process of turning into a sexaroid or she's a pervert deep down who doesn't mind being turned into one. Either way, it's clear that unlike 581's previous stories where the victim is either on mimic mode or sexbot mode, this guy (un)fortunately keeps his ego even if twisted seeing her interaction with her friend in page 2 and 3.

Hence why I said the scary part is that he got his personality twisted. In 581's previous series of Bishoujo Remodelling, one can take solace in the fact that the remodelled girls are blissfully unaware about their modification and when it's exposed, sexaroid personality takes over. In this one? He's most likely broke after being forced to experience female orgasms(which is way stronger than male's) and how to please men for long period of time as a process of being converted into sexaroid, creating this tomboyish sexaroid with her memories and personality as a male intact while also wanting to fuck her master so bad. Last page is basically the same default robotic sexdoll mode like in 581's previous series because either his friend feels the tomboy sexbot is too much or simply to tease her.

Okay while I LOVE this kind of transformation, a huge part of the fun is seeing the guy go through the physical and mental changes. Without that, it's far less interesting and exciting.

It's most likely not related, but the world setting is obviously very similar about how twisted people with money could screw someone else through the help of a shady sexbot company who kidnaps people to be used as a base for their sexbot to be mass produced or custom made.

While I VERY MUCH agree with you, considering the commissioner isn't the usual guy(K-san) who could toss out a lot of money for detailed commission like Cool Bishoujo series, we should count our blessing to get at least a scene where the guy get mindbroken and two personality modes(tomboy sexbot & emotionless sexbot) instead of a simple before after standing picture.

I guess another aspect to the robotizations is the dehumanization element to it. You can consider how the "masters" view the robotized characters as merely objects and how the robotized characters lost any semblance of free will or sense of themselves. It honestly makes me sad for the characters and I guess that's one of the reactions this type of thing is accomplishing. This is shown well in the comment section of "The Million Dollar Mechanical Doll", someone asked if there would be a good alternate ending, Morny, the author, said there's no alternate route.

What I also find ironic (in some sense of the word) is that in cool bishoujo, all the robotized characters are given names while the "masters"/ the human characters aren't. They would however be even more dehumanized when they are given a model number in replacement of their names, RH-JK-246F for Kyoko and RH-AL-247F for Nazuna. I wonder though, what the AL stands for in Nazuna's model number. The JK for Kyoko's seems to stand for Joshikousei and the F may be her gender. I also wonder what RTN-64-12 means. Is it Erika's model number or something else? it seems to be a different format than the other two.

@sectorunit888 TBH I think this 3 page sequence is actually more comprehensible than the 8 page Million Dollar Mechanical Doll story.

There's very little detail given, but we ARE shown 3 specific steps. 1: Boy is betrayed by a friend, who has subjected him to some equipment that we can safely assume is going to transform him and reprogram him. 2: He has now been modified into a robot sex slave girl, who is now property of (presumably) the friend who did this to her. 3: The "Friend" changes the robot girl's settings by using some kind of app, causing her now behave like a mindless robot instead of a person and bringing the mind control and robot themes full circle.

As a transformation sequence, it's really barebones. But to be fair, it's also extremely straightforward, whereas MDMD manages to be far more confusing and hard to follow despite having over twice as many pages.

The dehumanization is kinda a running theme to all pf 581's commission. The only one that have a happy ending is the idol one iirc since the guy who rescued the titular character becomes her bf and the bad guy who robotized her gets turned into her duplicate as a karma.

Thing about MDMD is, the illustration is very brief and only shows key parts that might confuse anyone because of the fact that the commissioner expects you to read the novel for the full experience(which is very detailed in showing how much of a scum can a human be)
