You were on the right track here but the execution is still a bit lacking to be considered good. One exmaple is the constant change in fontsize. Typesetting is not about completely filling the bubbles. Choose a fontsize for your regular text that fits in all or at least most of it and run with it. Why? A change in the size of the font implies a change in how loud the character is speaking. Big letters = shouting, small letters = whispering.

In Photoshop there's a "stroke" effect that will let you put a white bubble around your text. This is useful for adding text to a scene without a speech bubble as you don't have to redraw anything.
