2) Please stop exporting black and white images as RGB jpgs/pngs. They should always be exported as greyscaled PNGs to a) avoid artifacting; b) maintain quality; and c) de-bloat (your 34-page upload is sitting at 223 MB, mostly because you export as RGB).
