I think it's awesome that there are more than enough how to and art books for people to learn how to draw and make their own doujinshi. I wish that we would start seeing more attempts, but I'm happy with what we are getting out of Japan.

OK , I took a quick read through the words and I gotta say that live modals and photographs are both valid ways of learning to draw the human form. While the two are not the same thing, they each still provide useful learning experience for the aspiring artist.
