How was the story destroyed? What happened?

@aqqa - It looks like a happy ending for Hisako and Shun, then a lot of stuff happens, it gets a bit contulvolted, but she ends with the guy who is at the end of this one who is actually her dad. She is suppose to be happy according to the author because the guy "healed" her mind(WTF), but she has completely forgotten Shun whom she had divorced. Shun ends up with the glasses girl . Hisako and Shun also had two daughters who don't remember their dad because after the divorce he never had contact with them again? Even tho they got divorced it looks like when the girls were 5ish?

The author talks about it in a timeline/summary page in a couple of the later books, but it looks like those galleries are now gone, as I couldn't fine them to reference.

Art is great, but the ending is a bit too depressing for me, ruins the whole fap. I mean damn I think the book where you see Hisako is with her dad, there is a story were she's sill with Shun but being turned into a slut again by the dad and then she's living with him, the daughters are in high school and she's happy. Only explanation is in the timeline/summary.

Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

Cutegyaru. You are a newbie to scanlating. People do it because they love the series but there are limits to that. Once they get actual jobs, it's very hard to contribute to scanlate. I don't see any reason why anyone should spend so long trying to redraw something that no one will notice. I never seen nice redrawing mentioned anywhere. That's how insignificant it is. It might look more visually pleasing but is it worth the effort and time? I done think so.

Sorry if my standards is not good enough. I don't spend more than a few minutes per page I just don't have that kind for time. I have a family to take care of and I rather spend time with them than translating hentai.

Yes. So is doing a good translation. You mentioned spending "only a few minutes" per page. I can tell. You clearly like these authors, so why not do them justice? Is permanent mediocrity something you really should aim for and boast about?

Yes, it does. And so does the overall editing. Scanlating isn't just about slapping unedited text on a page as lazily as possible, but I'm sure someone with your great scanlating experience knows this. Surely.

c) I'm not asking for perfection, but continuous improvement. Removing text before adding your own isn't "perfection", it's literally the most basic thing you can do.

Yes if that's what I can achieve with the time I spent. It is what it is. That also applies to the translation since I do them as I edit so there are times where I fucked up or I could have reword that better. Few minutes per pages is probably not enough and too quick. If you do have improvements then I'll make them. My Japanese are probably deteriorating since I'm not really using it these days but I do my best.

Yes because it is pathetic to spend more than a few minutes translating porn. It's also a hobby that I find increasingly difficult to hide. High standards are great if you have luxury to do so. I don't but I did my best. I love Miito Shido and will always support him. I only translate this so English fans can read the series. Unfortunately I can't make it perfect.

It is. Anyone browsing free porn needs to have have ceiling in their standards. You said you do stuff for free. That's great. Except you got people to shoulder some of the work for you on cleaning and editing. I don't have that luxury.

I disagree with this. I would say it is more complicated than editing or typesetting and probably more time consuming. It is not one that you can use a Photoshop action on. My PC Background is an redrawn two page spread of Air Gear. Redrawers need to be praised more. Most redrawers can also clean, edit and even typeset. There are far more important than basic cleaners, some types of editors and quality checkers.

I would love a redrawer for my works but that's sadly just not possible.
The way I see it, nobody might want to work on this artist's works so I do it. If that's not good enough for you, then that's sucks but I understand. You or anyone is always welcome to improve it further. I have the working files for all my work. You are welcome to improve it and while this exchange of words piss me off, I'm someone who can bury past conflicts.
It would nice if a Miito Shido fan who can redraw and edit work with me. But no person exist unfortunately.

If only hentai is like Datenshi no Ana's works then it will be so much easier to edit. I have to continue playing Elden Ring. Damn maybe I shouldn't have released this if I knew I was gonna get heat for doing this. Then again it's only from one person.

A). You can't improve well you can only spend a few minutes per page. This is not a job. It's a hobby my dude.
C) I did remove all the text in the main bubbles. I left some of the moans since they will be too tiny to read anyway and just add the translation at the side of the page. The ones on the drawing themselves are just not worth wasting the time. The translation is still there on top.
D) Spending few minutes per page is not lazy especially when you do have a perfectly serviceable result. I think a few minutes per page is insane but that's what I can only give. Good luck trying to find someone who can do what I did in a few minutes. I don't think you can. I don't know how you can improve what I do in a few minutes. It's just not enough time. There's a limit on what you can do in a couple of minutes and a simple redraw already adds more than what I can spend on a page.

I love the series. What can you do? Judging from the majority of you translated works, you might be a danger to children (Just saying)

No wonder hentai scanlating is dying. We have assholes filled with egos. Bad attitude is why so many manga groups ceased to exist. We have jobless idiots expecting people to achieve the highest standards for free. If you take more than a few minutes per page, I hope you are really trying your best. I'm used to KPIs and doing a page for what 4 minutes or less from scratch is efficient as fuck. What's lazy is spending so much time on a page people would only spend seconds to read. Then Knock Knock, here comes Irodori or Fakku and we're DCMAing your shit.

Papago already exist, there is a modified version available that makes translating and typesetting a page in seconds and you can change the translations for your translations. It has a lot of problems like it only working on pure white bubbles that are big. It's not perfect but with proper AI training, it should be able to blend the modified translation flawlessly well if the development keeps going.

You care about quality, I care about efficiency. Why spend so much time when under four minutes with the right set-up, you could release a perfectly servicable page? There's diminishing returns in quality especially in manga translation. Your set-up is inefficient. It is slow and tedious and relies to too many people prolonging the entire process. Mine is fast and it could be improved believe it or not. I tried combining it with this action I found in the forums that redraws the background of those transparent bubbles using a page with no text or something but I can't make it work alongside my actions. If only I was able to implement it... Some things just don't work out the way you want them too.

I honestly don't see the issue, I've seen plenty of translations that stick to the dialogue and that's pretty much it. This was, is, and will be a jack sparrow site so to speak. To argue about how glamourously we ignore and break so many regulations is meaningless. But the spirit in which we do what we do has to always, in my opinion, have some passion for the art going a bit beyond the need to jack off. But all I can really do without any knowledge of Japanese is spread the materials around hoping someone with the proper skillset and a platforn outside their reach can get a hold of it. I really want this site to be restored little by little and the hypocrites hounding it to get a vibe check but I guess one step at a time.

I can somewhat understand the sentiment on both sides, but I guess there's a certain threshold of acceptability for everyone. If bad edits preclude any future translation work, I can understand, but good English translations are hard to come by as is.

On a side note, do you know if the author is going to release the less/uncensored tank of Haruko's doujins through online? Can't get my hands on the physical copy.

Unless they get localised, I would say no. Try and look for it on Mandarake or Surugaya.

I will be releasing a re-edit of Haruko's complete series this month. I'm already preparing for the incoming hate but they are some improvements.

@shakuganaexa Thank you for finishing this series man... when I started reading Miito Shiido I relied on scanlations like yours and Tada. Now I pretty much read Japanese raws with occasional Kanji OCR lookup.

And yes between not screwing the artists and the haters on here I don't see myself doing any scanlation at all for anybody anytime soon. No time for jerks and no time.
