This is so out of character for Gojou. I get that a lot of doujin stretch things in order to facilitate the sex. But this goes beyond that and completely throws Gojou's character out the window. It is to the point that the "I can't control myself *rape*" causes so much dissonance with the sweet feelings from the original story that it references, that it ruins both the ero aspect and the nostalgia for the series aspect that make ero doujins so powerful.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about the artist's intentions or saying "our pure characters should be pure and never have sex". I'm just stating in more detail what a some commenters seem to have also felt. The sex was rushed. A little bit of lead in would have made it so much better. Some accidental or hesitant foreplay leading into full on mutual sex, rather than the trope of a man being turned into a beast by overwhelming lust "I'm sorry I can't bear it anymore. I'm not stopping *rape*", would have been so much more in line to Gojou's character, and all the squishy lovey dovey feelings that the doujin references after the sex scenes.

Pochi's art is good and reflects the characters very well. Though the magazine scan takes away from a lot of their hard work, especially with the detailed cosplay outfits, that a digital copy likely displays much better. Surprisingly, the coloration actually serves to even out some of the harshness caused by the magazine scan. The extra colors, filled in very well in flat shades that seem accurate to the anime, seem to help bring out the original artist's style that was dampened by the magazine scan. That said, I feel that it is poor form for the Colorization team to omit the translators credits page, and even yahiro pochi's credit page that included their social media links, while brazenly putting in their own credits page and asking people to donate to their project and patreon. The translation seems passable. I can't blame them for any misinterpretation, given I have issues with what is obviously the base plot. The sequels will probably even out and start to feel more natural, given how outgoing and sex positive Marin is, and that she does indeed get Gojou to lighten up a bit over time in the source material. Hopefully the series improves from this abrupt start.
