ビクッ = Tremble/shiver/jump (in fear)/being startled. It doesn't mean "turn."

Japanese handwriting and esp onomatopoeia can be painful.

edit: also, make sure to convert your black and white pages to grayscale. Your stuff's in RGB right now, which bloats the size of your files, and messes with color accuracy (brownish tint) and leveling (which you should also do as the blacks are faded.)
