@meowskersaures there are outliers though, general assumptions never look good in the long run, and as far as virginity goes people love to forget that certain exercises and recreational pastimes (swimming, workout routines, horseback riding) can all tear the hymen preemptively.

Some people have incredibly difficult times sorting out their feelings and some find it hard to make the jump from friends to lovers due to fear of how things will change, which makes them hesitate and then suddenly 10 years go by, it does happen.
Finally 7. Why in the HELL are you so caught up on this. Its hentai. It's actually a damn surprise they still try to put any kind of realism into the narrative when it isn't really needed.

This might be the first time I've seen the stupid trope of "Let's do a sex contest to see who gets him!" and the guy freaks out because none of his feelings are being considered at all. In every other story the guy goes along with it, doesn't commit, and gets the harem ending. Here the guy rightfully gets pissed the fuck off that he was played like a fool for ten years and that they're being incredibly selfish in how they're deciding things.

The story itself is a mess but I applaud that. I don't like the trope but I like him being pissed off about it.

On the slut side; I don't think they're sluts. I think the story is pretty dumb and the author never thought to actually portray them as virgins. They probably aren't because ten years is a ridiculous amount of time (too long for this type of story, who holds on to an unconfirmed love for ten years without moving on? Five maybe but ten?) but it's explicitly stated she avoids any type of relationship and the other has loved him since she was a young girl. So if they had sex before this it was probably only a time or two and they couldn't move on.

But I blame the poor writing and pacing for that then anything.
