Rather than post each set one at a time, why not make a single gallery of escafa's stuff? That way you don't keep flooding it with new galleries.

Completed works are not supposed to be mixed in the same gallery unless the artist releases them together more specifically than just being uploaded to the same account, just because some pixiv dumps break this rule doesn't mean breaking it should be prioritized over uploading it the "correct" way.
Imagesets are also absolute fucking cancer for finding anything more specific than the artist tag and some of their most common tags because of the presence rule. Add to this that it would drop content that is 95% non-h in the general Western category because even one set that crosses that line is enough to make that migration and the fact that imagesets require really fucking spammy updates to bump back to the front page whenever a single new image exists. The only time I ever plan on uploading imagesets without huge demand to do an artist one on top of individual works being treated as such would be theme/tag imagesets where I can just upload it once and never update them again.

I just wanted to get this over with in one rush, only got 3 sets left to go and if there is genuine demand for an imageset dump I might look into that as potential 4th, after that this batch can get buried slowly and the exposure it'll get will gradually transition to just the people looking for it specifically a lot faster because I didn't draw the process out endlessly.

New sets are WIP, I could upload those as ongoing and continuously update them but given that the spam did get pretty bad I probably won't touch anything ongoing from Escafa for a while, want this big wave to settle down properly while I do other stuff and I don't really like the maintenance of ongoing galleries anyway, easier to just post them when they're finished.

Downvoting means very little to me, I upload for the sake of making content available on EH in a way that is actually searchable, ratings are secondary at best.

If someone cares to have a artist specific imageset because they like it better that way instead of just wanting there to be less galleries and less reliable tagging they're absolutely free to upload one themselves. I've noticed absolutely none of the people proposing a single compilation dump has any experience contributing to this site, might be a good place to start being useful if they think they know better.

I was only making a suggestion to prevent flooding the site and was unaware of the rules regarding compilations. Obviously I was wrong about that, but mocking someone who is just suggesting to help by going "Do it yourself" won't make people listen to you.

@Deiser, sorry, wasn't aimed at you, most people haven't been quite as respectful as you (seems like some people haven't learned anything from the CGC situation, harassing uploaders rarely ever gives positive results) and my reply matched that attitude. Compilation rules are a bit vague on this topic but in general there to avoid the sort of gallery people have been requesting in other content categories. It's poorly enforced but I absolutely agree with the intent not to have dupes for the sake of having completed works grouped together for the sake of it, imagesets exist but those are more for loose image dumps.

I fully understand the concerns about spam and it was actually the reason picked up my pace even more, I just wanted to get it over with quicker, I think Escafa's artstyle has its charms and can be appreciated by the right people but would never be accepted with open arms on the front page so the sooner everything was up, the sooner new content could push it out of the front page again. Besides that its just a lot easier to binge these sorts of uploads, the resulting spam is a short term inconvenience but meaningless in the long term.

Because the compilation rules are a bit dodgy I might at some point upload the imageset in question but I feel like it would be more malicious compliance dumping yet another gallery than genuinely trying to upload anything of value if I were to do it now, so if anyone else disagrees and wants to have both options available they're encouraged to do it themselves, I'll keep an eye out for when the ongoing Escafa sequences finish (if at all, you never really know with the guy) but move on to other artists for the time being. I really wanted to fill out na_shacho the same way, as well as 1 other set where I probably won't bother to "fill out" the artist portfolio. Whilst doing the Escafa stuff I saw a lot of stuff in the suggested section that was worth checking out and I should eventually stop procrastinating my translation work so there's plenty of uploading left to do.

Edit: while the compilation tag is vague on it, it turns out the Upload rules do clearly not allow a collection that is just compiling CG sets and the pixiv dumps that leave the impression imagesets get a free pass on this are expungable.
