I don't understand why his older sister's barrier is held in such a high regard. It makes even less sense to me how she ended up as student council president, since it's based on power and not academic merit. I can't think of a single useful application of it and there's too many ways to circumvent it. The fact that it turns off when she's unconscious means that he could have easily made his move when she was asleep. All the more so when he took his younger sister's powers. In a fight against another esper, the best she can do is force a draw. Even without the knowledge of her weakness, I don't see why you can't easily just trap her. Simply not being able to eat, drink, or move around would eventually wear her down.

Also, I can't help but laugh at the plot. Why the hell did his dad, an apparently empathetic and kind dude, marry his personality's polar opposite? Why would it matter if she openly cheated on him? She obviously doesn't care about him, her habit of fucking random dudes is an open secret, and her regenerative powers ensure that she'll be rich and influential. If she divorced him instead, she could have gotten rid of both dad and son, and the plot could still work with a couple minor tweaks. It also doesn't make sense why she didn't just marry a corrupt politician. They'd share mutual interests and benefit from each other's influence. And if we're being honest, his dad was basically complicit in his abuse. He didn't deter the abuse, he just shows up to bandage the harm. Both his parents sucked.

At first I was expecting just a regular rape manga. Then it turns out there's a plot behind it. You can understand why the protagonist acts the way he is. The setting forced him into that position. And he spent no time at all in trying to find a way to not only break the women that broke him, but actively takes steps towards in trying to unfuck the world.

All in all, a great read and much more condensed than some of the other official manga that explores the concept of power abuse.

Well, pretty typical hentai power fantasy here. Pretty sure I've seen some variation of power stealing and/or mimicking via sex before... but it likely wasn't memorable enough to remember where. The concept just isn't new to me.

Funily enough, plot holes aside... this does have a lesson, and that's the fact that any kind of sexism is bad, much like power abuse. Though sadly, real life hasn't provided people with convenient turn-around tools to stop existing abuses of power, and those who abuse their power have become smarter about keeping their victims docile.

The biggest thing I don't understand is why his older sister's ability was held in such high regard... Unless of course it works even when she's the one approaching or attacking. If it displaces any matter or energy that's in the way of her body, then it could actually be pretty terrifying because she'd be able to literally walk through walls, bunkers, people and anything else that you might try to put in her way. Give her a gas-mask and an air-tank and it becomes extremely difficult to stop her. Unless her shield has an upper limit to what it can block, then even nukes wouldn't stop her. Any esper without esoteric abilities or movement skills would be dead meat in front of her. No static objective could be easily protected against her. Her shield doesn't seem to be skin-tight, so you could give her a bomb, and she could just walk to wherever you want it detonated and it'd be extremely difficult to stop her, and she could just pop it out of her shield and blow it up whenever she wants.

Pretty decent if it actually works like that... but downright horrifying in the hands of her brother.
