Ripped directly from the Mandarake listings (https://ekizo-mandarake-co-jp.translate.goog/auction/item/itemInfoJa.html?index=687252&_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en) and enhanced to correct color and legibility. Like most anime of the era, fan clubs were an integral part of a series' general public success sans for general merchandise sales, etc. The Osamu Tezuka Fanclub was an official fanclub hosted and funded by Osamu Tezuka thanks to a resurgence in his success with works such as Unico and Black Jack. The official Tezuka Osamu Fan Club Meeting took place at the Kudan Kaikan hall in 1980, during which a pilot film for "Don Dracula" was screened. Members were given shirts, pins, and tons of merchandise, including these booklets, which had reprinted manga of Tezuka's from the late 1950s up until the late 1970s. Eventually, these booklets also began to include fan works such as correspondence, fan fiction, illustrations, interviews with Tezuka himself, and other production staff who continued to carry on his legacy.

To my knowledge, these books were distributed evenly among all fans, but some books seem to have special information and content per prefecture and region. With that in mind, some books are specifically made for the Yamagata, Musinanaka, and the Tohoku regions.

This collection is not clearly all that exist from this fanclub however. Date wise, these seem to all be from 1986 - 1988, unmarked or otherwise, based on the printing. Included are whatever image excerpts that were provided with each listing.

These are very important texts, and while they are not readily available online to purchase, I did want to archive the images. The fanclub still exists til this very day, though in a much smaller capacity. None the less, Tezuka's life long legacy still lives on strongly.
