I wouldn't say the MC is dead but rather he's being suppressed by the woman. I think what trigger the event where the original body took over was the fact the MC wasn't dominant while he first got fuck by the AI slave. Going off by the last few pages the original body seem to be the dominant type. So the MC is stuck in a situation where he can only watch and can't act.
