PBX is alive but he/she doesn't really care. The last person that asked permission (about 10 years back) got approval so I doubt much would change.

That said, while I do enjoy seeing other artists' version of this classic we rarely (or never?) ever see a Kamehasutra remake/retake that actually gets finished. And there have been quite a few. This one is being done by an artist who has quite a few finished Simpsons works so fingers crossed.
