@guylikesex artist has had some sketchy history with payment related stuff in the past. Commission scheduling, patreon activity, that kind of thing, but the tipping point was over the past year when he cancelled sticker sets he advertised and started a subscription service with constantly changing goals and output levels. That and the mass blocking of people who criticized his recent behavior when he went on a bender earlier this year.
I won't directly advocate piracy but a lot of people have been burned by him in the past and are rightfully justified in not wanting to financially support him.
