Why would you even do leveling on a digital version? Do you just apply the same levels settings on everything without even checking how it affects the image? Digital versions most of the time can be used as they are. There is no noise that needs removal or colors that would need adjustment. Digital versions are how the artist intended for their work to look like. Sure, some rare exceptions exist where a digital version could benefit from leveling. Some digital versions are clearly just scans of the physical version, only sold digitally. Which is why they are still labeled as a digital version.

Most digital versions need no leveling. Any levels adjustments can only help make the image look worse, not better. With your unnecessary leveling, all you've managed to do here is destroy detail. Compare it to the raw and you'll see this is darker and the dark areas have expanded eating away some of the small details. My advice would be to just skip leveling on any digital versions you work on, unless it's a digitally sold scan of a paper version that actually benefits from leveling.

I'll be honest, I do the color leveling by default because I've been used work on bad doujins in the past so sometimes I actually do force myself to not level but it's something that was engrained in me when I was taught on how to edit and clean doujins.
