Sadly looks worse then the raw because of the unnecessary leveling. Everything looks darker that it should be. There's no rule that you absolutely have to use leveling on everything. It should only be done when it can make the pages look better. The pages here would have looked just fine if you skipped leveling altogether.

Yeah kakao's art really evolved. The artist's early works were usually cutesy but the artist's recent works now have a mature, erotic look. You could easily see it the way the girls were drawn and I love it.

Thanks for the trans; I'd totally forgotten about this series. What I always felt odd was how about halfway through it just kind of changes. Setsuko goes from being possessed and trying to fight it while being tsundere to just kind of fully possessed and acting like a full succubus. Instead of trying to suppress any feelings she has for him she just goes full psycho femdom mode using him as a tool but also getting jealous that he thinks about other things including their other childhood friend? I think there was foreshadowing that she's been carrying around the item that cursed her or something but zero plot reason for why she would. The friend being the one who planted it on her makes no real sense.

And the other friend has bopped in and out of the story here or there with the last bit with her being a reveal she might also be a succubus, even though she was supposedly connected to a church before? And why would she be upset the two were having sex when she was the one who explained the situation in the first place? She was in the room when he volunteered to be her source.

And if Setsuko is a "full" succubus now for whatever reason, does she even still need him? If she's a full succubus, then what's the point of their arrangement since the original goal was to suppress the demonic influence. But that plot point's seemingly gone. And she shows almost no affection for him whatsoever anymore other than the sex, and it's not implied that their somehow "tied" together. It's almost in yandere territory but even then you usually see some affection or a confession of sorts.

It really does feel like halfway through the series the writer pivoted and doesn't have the plot figured out.

Btw if you guys read the afterword, it's written there that the author wants to end it quickly at vol 9, so I guess he won't take break anymore.
Also from what he implied there, I personally think that he took 2 years hiatus to polish his skill first before finishing this doujinshi.
